Kern Woods  

Speed/Agility

Kern has been involved in the sport of track & field for over 20 years. He has competed at a high level through high school, making the Indiana All- State team and earning a Division I track scholarship to Purdue University. He excelled as a sprinter, hurdler, and long jumper at Purdue earning All-Big Ten Honors multiple times as well as being voted as a team Captain for two years.

Since graduating from Purdue, Kern has coached multiple state finalists at the high school level in both Indiana and Ohio. He has also earned a Level I Coaches Certification from USA Track & Field. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2015 he has spent time volunteer coaching for the Northridge Pacers Track Club in the 7-8 age division. Kern now focuses on sport-specific speed development for kids ages 9-17 to help them reach elite levels in through improved speed in their respective sports.
